This was the beautiful cake we designed and created for Natalie and Brad at Freirn Manor in Essex, back in May this year.  We do many many weddings in Essex but it was our first time at Friern Manor  – what a lovely little venue.  Gorgeous!

This year has most definitely been the year for ‘blush and gold’ and with this colour palette in mind I think this has to be my favourite wedding cake for 2018.

Natalie wanted us to create a very elaborate piping design for her wedding cake.  She gave us an example of something that she liked but as with all of our Bespoke Wedding Cakes, we wanted to create something very individual.  As you can see from the images, we created two patterns, which were repeated several times.  The piping detail on this cake probably took just over two days… But, the effect was beautiful.

We were so pleased with the overall combination of the piping, the flowers and the gold leaves and once all put together it really did make a stunning centrepiece.

We received the loveliest thank you from Natalie (see below) .  It was a pleasure to work for this couple and we wish them all the best for the future.

Wow, just wow! Our wedding cake was fit for a princess...absolutely stunning. Not only did it look amazing it tasted just as good. I didn’t want to cut it!  The sugar flowers looked so real and the attention to detail was incredible. So many lovely comments from our guests. From start to finish Nicola was so lovely and knew exactly what I liked and didn’t!
Thank you so much
