This is the ‘naked’ wedding cake we made for Charlotte and Luke at the beginning of September this year.
To be honest, the is the first naked wedding cake we have actually made. We have made them for celebrations and parties previously, but not actually for a wedding.
Charlotte and Luke were going ‘vintage country fair’ all the way for their wedding, so no surprise that they selected Preston Court as their venue. We have delivered to this venue a few times before and it really is magical. Complete with a carousel and wandering peacocks it us very charming indeed.
All three tiers of this cake are vanilla sponge and as you can see it is oozing with vanilla bean buttercream and raspberry jam. We are told it was enjoyed by all….
