This is the wedding cake we designed and created for Jade & John for their post nuptual party in Chislehurst on Saturday. Jade and John actually got married in Tanzania at the beginning of the month – just the two of them but arranged a party for friends and family to celebrated with them in Chislehurst, Kent
Jade came to us with very specific ideas of what she wanted. A plain white cake, edged with rose gold mouldings and she wanted us to create sugar bouquets of her chose flowers: – lilac “Ocean Song” roses, peach “Juliet” roses, peach sweet pea and white bouvardia.
Jade and John cake was a beautiful combination of flavours and fillings: – pink champagne with champagne buttercream, rich chocolate sponge with white chocolate buttercream and vanilla sponge with vanilla bean buttercream and raspberry jam
We were so pleased with this cake and absolutely love the colour combinations..
