Jade was very specific about what she wanted and the wedding cake was incredibly important to herself and John. Jade and John actually got married abroad – just the two of them and returned to the UK for a party for family and friends in Chislehurst.
Jade had provided us specific names and colours of her chosen florals and requested that we replicate these in sugar for her wedding cake.
Jade and John chose various flavours for their sponges and I am so please that they loved their Champagne tier as much as we did (not that we had a little taste of course!). Champagne sponge (made with a bottle of champagne) filled with pink prosecco buttercream is one of our new flavours and has become very popular!
We were so pleased with this cake and even more pleased when we saw the professional photos. We always ensure that our sugar flowers replicate the fresh florals as near as possible but on this occasion we were chuffed to bits.
