However, our ‘Vintage Sugar Garden’ (blog post  ‘Kent Vintage in London Bride’http://www.hallofcakes.co.uk/blog/46/kent-vintage-in-london-bride) is also a causing quite a stir.  This beautiful array or cakes, sugar cups and saucers, and exquisite sugar flowers was created in July this year for Gemma and Duncan, who married just outside Canterbury, Kent.  Last week we received a call from a lady in Aberdeen, asking if it was possible to deliver them to Scotland.  I think we will have to start ordering the bubble wrap in bigger quantities!

These latest images on the blog were shot in our studio by the lovely Hannah Gooch of The Ebury Collection.  I meet some truly wonderful people working in the wedding industry and every wedding, event, launch or party throws you into the path of somebody you wouldn’t have otherwise met.

I met Hannah at the launch party of the stunning new Surrey venue that is Fetcham Park.  A truly memorable launch party, full of glitz and glamour and hosted by Laura Caudery of Parallel Venueshttp://www.parallelvenues.co.uk

I was introduced to Hannah by my lovely friend Paul Antonio.  Hannah is the founder of The Ebury Collection, which was launched in September 2010http://www.theeburycollection.com

The Ebury Collection is an elegant online wedding directory bringing together a handpicked collection of the UK’s most renowned and unique wedding suppliers.

It is a high profile resource of niche and inspirational wedding suppliers and nestled within the Collection you will find everything from spectacular venues to beautiful gowns and evening entertainment.  It is destined to become every bride’s most coveted Little Black Book of wedding contacts

The Ebury Collection also features a blog for which Hannah writes regular articles associated with the wedding industry – providing ideas and inspiration and featuring various suppliers that Hannah meets on her travels.

Sometimes you just ‘click’ with people instantly and I found Hannah both motivating and inspirational.  We chatted endlessly about all things weddings and arranged to meet up soon to see if we could work together.

I was delighted to hear from Hannah the following week suggesting we set up a photo shoot at the studio. Hannah loved what she had seen on our website and wanted to feature some of our new designs within The Ebury Collection.
