Luxury Wedding Cakes Essex
This is the beautiful wedding cake we designed and created for Freya and Ray for their spring wedding at Down Hall in Bishops Stortford, Essex. We have delivered many of our luxury wedding cakes to Essex venues and Down Hall was a real treat.
It was actually the first time we had been to Down Hall and WOW! It did not disappoint. Such a stunning event space. Literally a perfect mix for me – beautiful historic features, contrasting with a modern spa and dining spaces. Just PERFECT.
So, Freya wanted a BIG wedding cake. She wanted their cake to the focal point of the room. Whilst her main fresh florals were white, Freya wanted her wedding cake to tell a different story and asked us to created the most vibrant mix of bright and beautiful coloured sugar flowers. As you can imagine (or maybe not..) the sugar flowers took weeks – literally… But, the overall effect, I’m sure you’ll agree was absolutely incredible.
