We are very proud to be approved as a recommended cake maker for Claridges. Actually, we were approved a few months ago – back in October 2022, but we were so busy at the time we just didn’t have the time to update our blog!
We have now done a number of events at Claridges. In actual fact, the first event we did there was actually one of our biggest wedding cakes to date! There are so many lovely event spaces at Claridges, facilitating the grandeur of a lovely big wedding in the main ballroom or a more conservative number in, perhaps, the Piano Room. Every space is unique in decor and detail, so there are many choices of where to host your special occasion.
When I started this little business back in 2007 it was beyond my wildest dreams to be a cake maker for Claridges! I mean, how? A lot of hard work is all I can say. Every one of our cakes is make bespoke to order. Literally no two cakes are the same. We make our cakes exactly to the customers specification, depending on the occasion, the theme, the colour scheme, the number of guests and of course, the venue will always play part. Of course, you simply cannot book your event at Claridges and then not have a beautiful cake!
Being a cake maker for Claridges does mean you very often get some last minute requests. Some of them very last minute indeed!
