Another recent one was for the rebrand for a company we are closely affiliated with in the world of events – Amie Bone. Amie is an event designer and florist and commissioned us to design and create a ‘story cake’ to celebrate her rebrand A ‘story cake’ is, as the name suggests, an edible work of art which tells the story of a product or person from it’s inception. Amie provided us with many (bonkers) ideas and pictured below is the final result. A market stall (where it all began) Amie’s husband Jason – she met whilst selling bananas(!) her love of bulldogs – fave baby front centre, Her love of peacocks and leopards, her love of tea (see the tea pot on the top). Beak Street – her first London studio.. The list goes on…
We have also made Rolex watch cakes, Chanel Cakes, Hermes Birkin bag cakes.. Sooooo many cakes! Corporate cakes and product launch cakes are what we do.
A couple of years ago we were commissioned by an agency worked for ITV This Morning to create a showstopper of a cake for Kem’s birthday. Kem was the showbiz front man at the time and for his birthday they wanted us to create the wow factor of corporate cakes to be wheeled on during the live broadcast. Kem has previously appeared in Love Island too (an ITV production) and so they also wanted Love Island to be quite a feature of the cake.
We have worked for TV companies (ITV and BBC and Channel 4) and are proud to have produced many wedding cakes – specifically for the ‘wedding’ episode of some very well known TV Dramas.. Pictured below is Miss Haversham’s wedding cake. We were commissioned by the BBC for this one for the series that was Dickensian
