The wedding of Lolade and Ladi Alakija really was a spectacular event with absolutely no expense spared.
I have to be honest in saying that at the time we were commissioned for this cake we had little idea of the celebrity status of this couple in Nigeria.
Loladi wanted the most amazing cake for their celebrations at The London Hilton on Park Lane. Nothing less than a showstopping centrepiece was in order for this young lady
We designed and created an eight tier cake, with the most intricate detail and sugar decoration. The base of the cake was bursting with over 200 exquisite David Austin roses as well as a beautiful posey on the top tier.
We have since received the most amazing feedback from this wedding and are delighted to say that we are now well recognised as London’s lead cake designer in the Nigerian community.
The Lolade and Ladi Alakija wedding cake was priced at £3295. We have since done other variations of this cake – some slightly cheaper and one more expensive. It literally depends on the detail.
