Location aside, Hall of Cakes have been established for over 15 years and have delivered the most incredible wedding cakes to all of Kents’ top venues. Leeds Castle, Hever Castle, Penshurst Place to name but a few. Hall of Cakes has enjoyed a long standing relationship with all of these venues and has worked closely with the events teams to establish a longstanding relationship.
Leeds Castle – Wedding Cake Makers Kent
We are often asked which is our favourite venue in Kent.. Thats a tricky one to be honest as peoples’ wish lists do differ greatly. Without a doubt, Leeds Castle is the most historic venue and setting up one of our wedding cakes in the incredible King Henry VIII Banqueting Hall never gets tiring. Although driving over the tiny bridge to the main castle island with a six tier on board never gets any less stressful! Plus, we do often have to unload with a lot of tourists watching on and taking photographs! We have set up some magnificent wedding cakes at Leeds Castle – a few of them are shown here below. The huge window in the Banqueting Hall is the most incredible backdrop for one of our wedding cakes and I am not sure we have found another window in the UK that rivals it! Not that we tour the UK looking for windows but…!
Hever Castle – Wedding Cake Makers Kent
Hever Castle is also very impressive owing to its history and the Italian Gardens overlooking the lake provide the most beautiful setting for the actual ceremony – weather permitting! If I am honest, the thing that I don’t like about Hever Caste… and this is not a reflection on the venue – purely an issue for wedding cake makers in Kent – is the drive down the the main event space by the lake. The unmade up road is a cake makers worst nightmare and our nerves are usually in tatters by the time we park up! But, that aside its a fantastic event space and one which is so so popular with Kent brides.
