We have been commissioned for some fabulous designs over the next year and will be working at some of the most stunning venues in the South East. Hever Castle (Kent), Cooling Castle (Kent), Stockbrook Manor (Essex) and Stationers Hall (London) are just some of the locations we will be working at this summer. We are also very excited to be working on a ‘Vintage Sugar Garden’ for Gemma and Duncan at Preston Court (Canterbury, Kent) in July this year.
Many of our luxury wedding cakes designs originate from the bridal gown. At the consultation, the bride will show us images or sketches of their chosen dress and very often, the details of the dress are sketched into the cake design and recreated in sugar. We are delighted this year to be working from designs by the some of the most famous names in the business – Ian Stewart, Pronovias and Maggie Sottero, to name but a few…..
Featured here is one of our latest designs ‘A Regal Swag’. This design will be featured in BRIDES magazine later this summer. As the wedding season gets underway, many new designs will be appearing on the website, so check back regularly for new additions.
This Saturday was cupcake central at Hall of Cakes and on Saturday evening we delivered the most beautifully decorated cupcakes to a 40thBirthday party in Kent… Here are some images of the finished creations…… The birthday girl was already at the venue when we arrived and it was just wonderful to see her reaction when she saw the cakes set up…. Made the 5am start worth while!
